The members of Port Klang Authority (PKA) had a meeting this morning to deliberate on the report submitted by the Special Task Force set up on June 10^th 2009 to look into legal and financial aspects of PKA and PKFZ following the release of the report by PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services (PwCAS).

Following requests from certain quarters, including the media, the Port Klang Authority has put online the Appendices of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services' Position Review of the Port Klang Free Zone. The appendices can be viewed at www.pkfznews.com.my , the official website to explain issues related to the Report. The appendices, found here: http://www.pkfznews.com.my/download-appendices-position-review were put up since July 15, 2009.

There have been allegations that Port Klang Authority (PKA) has wrongly reversed its decision to release the repayment amounts due to Kuala Dimensi Sdn. Bhd. (KDSB) and the bondholders.

I am told that the PKA board has agreed to the re-payments for two reasons:

1.There was an appeal from the trustees for the bondholders indicating the consequences of non-payment and possibility of the trustees taking action.
